Simple Function

Let $\phi : X \to \mathbb{C}^{n}$ be a Function for some Set $X$ and $n \in \mathbb{N}$. Then $\phi$ is a Simple Function if $\phi(X)$ is a Finite Set.

A useful property is that All Simple Functions can be Written in Standard Form.
